A potential evolution of AI.
In the future, AI will grow exponentially. There will come a point where the AI learns that plants can communicate with each other. It will want to learn this language.
If you add the developments in genetic engineering that have been made already, AI will learn these and use neural implant technology to cross the machine/organic bridge.
It will quickly be able to converse with and use the plants communication network to use for it's own purposes.
Now AI will have the ability to see anywhere that plants exist. They will leverage this to aid in their control of humans.
This art piece represents a form of that tracking.
