Horse Leg Thinking Process
I looked at real horses at first, but it was difficult to see the underlying motion. So, I found horse anatomy books and I was off to a good start. I then built a plastic model kit to get a feel for it.
There are 7 movable joints in each front leg. To build a robot, then supply a method of locomotion and then program it. I figured I'd better start with one leg and try to work it out the geometry before moving on.
